To mark the release of Tropico VI, the Humble store is offering 80% off on their catalog of Kalypso games, including the earlier versions of Tropico. Of those, I think IV was the best. V didn't seem to add much.

I haven't been paying enough attention to the free games on the Epic launcher.  The Witness, a popular puzzle game, is free until the 18th.  Transistor (by the makers of Bastion) will be free from April 18 to May 2.

https://progameguides.com/lists/epic-games-store-free-games-list/ has a list of the free games going back to Subnautica.

ETA: if that's not Assassin's Creed for you, Humble is featuring AC:Origins in their bundle.

Thanks -- installing Transistor now!

I had to update the launcher on the first attempt, but that seems to have solved the problem.

The Epic store is currently giving away World of Goo (a physics simulator game) and will be giving away Stories Untold (an adventure game) on the 16th.

The Humble Store is giving away Age of Wonders III (a turn-based strategy game, I think) if you subscribe to their newsletter or are already subscribed.

The Origin store is giving away The Sims 4 until May 28.  (Without any of the 27 DLCs, as far as I can tell.)

As previously mentioned, the Epic store is giving away Stories Untold, and is giving away RiME (another adventure/puzzle game) starting tomorrow.  It looks like they are moving to a free game each week, still with a two-week window per game, but probably with lower-profile games.  Epic is also offering $10 off every $14.99+ game in the store until June 13, as part of a big sale.  (This has some weird effects; for instance, Gorogoa is normally $14.99, but is on sale for $10.04, so doesn't qualify for the $10 off, whereas World of Goo, if you didn't already get it for free, is at its regular price of $14.99, and is therefore available for $4.99.)

E3 weekend means sales on a bunch of publisher back catalogs.  I noticed, on Steam:

* $6 for Borderlands: The Handsome Collection (BL2, pre-sequel, and all DLC).  The price should be pro-rated down if you already own some of the bundle, so this is a cheap way to pick up missing DLC.
* $3 for Crypt of the REVIVAL!dancer, $2.50 for Don't Starve, and similar discounts on other Klei games.
* $0.59 each for Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity, as part of a Larian sale.  Divinity Original Sin 2 is $27, which I'm not sure I've seen before.  The first Dinivity Original Sin is $12, which I'm certain is not a new sale price.
