As part of the Steam sale, Civ VI is on for $40 (33% off). This is the best deal I've seen yet on this title.

Humble is currently featuring a "care package" bundle - https://www.humblebundle.com/care-package

This bundle provides money to five relief organizations, and you can choose which one gets your money.

TBH I didn't see anything "must have" in the bundle and I already give directly to the one of those five I really care about, but probably other people like other games than I do.

The Steam autumn sale is up.  More or less what we've come to expect, but none of the discounts on my wishlist games were enough to make me want to buy them at the moment.

Blizzard is also running a sale.  Destiny 2 is $39 instead of $60 right now (no discount on the expansions), Overwatch is $30 instead of $60, and the Starcraft 2 campaign collection is $40 instead of $65 (that regular price seems high now that the first campaign is free, but I guess Legacy of the Void is still a recent release).

Humble Bundle is offering Civ VI plus two DLC for their $12/month subscription service. If I was even halfway competent at remembering to cancel these things I'd go for this.

Talos Principle is $8 on Steam this week, or $11 with DLC.  This is a very well-reviewed first-person puzzle game from 2014.

GOG is offering 60% discount on "the complete Witcher III experience" by which they mean the main game and the two popular DLC "Hearts of Stone" and "Blood and Wine."

I played and enjoyed Witcher 3 quite a bit, but have not tried the DLC. I can't get to the actual URL right this moment (because work firewall blocks gaming sites including gog.com) but I believe you can find it from their front page.

Steam is having a Lunar New Year sale. Half a dozen things on my wishlist were on sale for about 50% off. I saw most things in that range, some as low as 25-30% and a few things in the 75-80% range.

If you have Amazon Prime, you can get free games via the Twitch desktop app.  The logistical details are a little confusing to me, but going to https://twitch.amazon.com to enable Twitch Prime seems to be the first step.

Tere appear to be five free games at any time and they rotate each month.  This month's are Superhot, Shadow Tactics, Tomb of Annihilation, Oxenfree, and Mr. Shifty.  As far as I know, once you've claimed the games, you keep them forever, not just until they rotate out, but I'm pulling that from a Gamespot article so it might be wrong.

For April, the free games are Tales From the Borderlands, Steamworld Dig 2, Kingsway, Tokyo 42, and Dub Wars.  I enjoyed the first Steamworld Dig, so am looking forward to the second one.

Kingsway is an RPG where the interface is a Windows 3.11/MacOS 7-style desktop. That feels like just the right amount of nostalgia for this crowd, I'm excited to try that one!

Let's see how often I remember that I have a non-Steam games library. Ask me how far I am in ME:Andromeda and DA:Inquisition because they are not in my sightline!
