New macro conditionals may make certain spells that use the targeting reticule easier to use quickly: https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/599n46/new_macro_conditionals_in_patch_71/

(Mostly excited this means you can drop SLT at your feet with one click again in PvP -- assuming they haven't changed that change already during my absence -- but useful for other stuff too.)

Interesting.  I should think about a "/cast [@player] Infernal Strike" binding for my DH tank.

Apparently patch 7.1 reset the emissary dailies, so there are three new ones today instead of the usual rollover.  Kind of a bummer if you didn't finish the Nightfallen emissary yesterday and still needed rep; on the other hand, if you were caught up, it's two unexpected emissary chests.

Two additional bursts of sadness that the emissary chest doesn't contain a legendary!

The number of times I've ended up facing away after mistargeting one...

ETA: Even though my Immo talent got nerfed, they changed the worst thing about the spec:

Quote
Felblade is now usable against targets in melee range even if the Demon Hunter is rooted.

Super great change for someone who plays by muscle memory! I wait until Felblade happens to start Shearing again, so I've often lost 2-3 GCDs wondering if I'm lagging out. In case you never experienced it, because Felblade has a charge component, you were unable to use it when rooted. Even if your target was in your grill.

/cast [@player] Angelic Feather

because my only speedboost, f u

Don't worry, I'll keep it on a mouse button unmodified for *occasional* speeding up of others.

Per today's Legion Q&A/Wowhead Trials of Valor loot will be buffed by 5 item levels next week.

Not sure if this affects loot that's already dropped.

I would be surprised if this isn't retroactive, as the items will retain their item ID.

Also looks like Legendaries will be getting an item level increase as well. Because sure, why not.

Well, if ToV gets a bump, it could potentially drop ilvl 900 WF-TF loot in Heroic, like Tom getting an 890 in EN. They probably want Legendaries to outpace them still.

Included in tomorrow's hotfixes:

* Legendaries will go up by 15 item levels to 910, retroactively.
* Trial of Valor rewards will go up by 5 item levels, retroactively.

There's a new type of Kirin Tor world quest (even though it's there hasn't been a recent Kirin Tor emissary) called "Like the Wind".  I did two of these; they're much harder than the other Kirin Tor world quests.  They're also a little buggy--you're not supposed to have forward momentum in the air, but sometimes you do.  A wowhead comment suggests turning on RP walk to limit how much unwanted forward movement you get in those situations, but I haven't tried it.  Anyway, skip these if you just want to get WQs done quickly or are easily frustrated.

Ooohhh these are new?  Yeah I did one last night too.  It wasn't really obvious where I had to go sometimes but eventually I figured it out.  The checkpoint was nice so when I failed I'd restart there.

I definitely had the momentum bug several times.  Once you get the hang of them I think they could be fairly quick to rip off, but the first time through?  Guh.

One thing that helped me greatly with those was to switch to first-person mode; it was a lot easier to see when I was lined up with the next sphere.

The Kirin Tor emissary spawned yesterday, but there weren't enough Kirin Tor world quests to complete it.  As of today there are just enough, but you have to do Arcway and two Like the Wind WQs to get all four.

So, Blizzard put out a hotfix very recently that allows you to just pick up the box, regardless of whether you've done any Kirin Tor dailies.  If you have been logged in since about 6:30pm today, you'll need to relog before doing so (even if you've completed all four Kirin Tor quests, as I found).
