My sole complaint is that it's bloody expensive.  $30 for the game and $12 for shipping.  It had better be really high quality for that price.

Also, check out the voiceover credit!

You didn't say it was turn-based.  Backed it!

Found this I was thinking someone may like it

Quote
Beer lovers who have balked at the complexity of home brewing their own lagers, stouts or ales have reason to be excited, thanks to the Pico, a counter-top appliance that looks to make homebrewing as easy as using a cappuccino machine. All you need to do is load modules for hops and grains into the Pico, attach a 5-liter mini-keg that has been filled with water and press Brew.
After a week or two, your batch will be ready for you, and since the Pico allows for customization of bitterness and alcohol levels, brewers can make a batch that's unique to their own tastes. PicoBrew has launched the device's Kickstarter drive today (Oct. 26), where early bird brewers can reserve a unit for $499, half of its eventual $999 retail price.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/freerangegames/labyrinth-collectible-card-rpg

This reads like the mash-up of all mash-ups.  CRPG and dungeon defense, all based on CCG mechanics.  You will have offensive decks that power your characters as they go attacking other dungeons and a defense deck that protects your loot from attacks, apparently even when you're offline.  Debating dropping money on this (despite my recent negative experiences with prepurchases).  Anyone have thoughts/info?

Not really a Kickstarter whoring post, more of a "go buy this game, which is a successful Kickstarter" post. Go buy Darkest Dungeon. It's $20 on Steam. The full release is coming out in like two hours. It's been in Early Access for like a year or more. I sunk about 30 hours into it. It is a really awesome, exceptional game that combines RPG elements with Lovecraftian + gothic horror. Also: there's an amazing narrator, similar to Bastion. I cannot recommend the game more highly.

I'm into board game review videos and tutorials, and maybe you are, too. I gave a few bucks to this one, because I like their light-hearted approach, showing that board gaming can be deep and strategic while also being fun: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/91256619/girls-game-shelf-2016

I'm not backing this personally, but a System Shock remaster seems like it might be appealing to people here:

This is an odd one - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/montecookgames/invisible-sun

Monte Cook Games is putting together a top-of-the-line, unique experience RPG. And it's frelling expensive. If anyone wants to get together on a black level box please let me know. I might have a few other interested parties but not enough to get a box, yet.

If you're like me and would really like to see your "non-fantasy MMO" itch scratched by something other than spaceships and spreadsheets: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1949863330/dual-universe-civilization-building-sci-fi-mmorpg

One interesting thing is that the entire game appears to be focused on research, building, trade, and exploration. No mention of combat.

They're aiming for a subscription model, which might or might not put me off the actual game on release, but we'll see. The game itself is intended to be free to download and then pay-to-play.

Not a kickstarter, and cheaper for folks who live near me than for other folks.  If you'd rather waste money on fancy chocolate than on fancy booze, check this out:

Is this a good thread for playtester whoring?  Defiant Mouse is looking for playtesters for an Android word(?) game.
