I walk by my daughter's room and I see all these crazy fuse bead creations stuck to her door. And a "I <3 bunnys" banner.

Apparently, the real brynn is channeling Thana.

That just means she's an enlightened and sophisticated individual.  *nods sagely*

Well OF COURSE, she's my child!

Although both my children appear to love cats.  They even meow and take turns pretending to be each other's cats.

During those times, I think they're Avi's children.

My children want a dog.
Now to be fair I grew up with cats and dogs (and at one time or another bunnies, parakeet, fish, guinea pig..)
Gwyd is very allergic to dogs and does not want under any circumstance, a dog. So I am happy to fill the hole with kitties. ^_^

Those kinds of rabbits (I think they're called Dutch spotted rabbits) are especially dear to me, as my sweetie's first bunny was colored like that.  :)

The best name I ever heard for a bunny colored like that was "Oreo".  :D

Also:

"Hey, Thana, did you see the Penny Arcade comic about the Bunny Ranch?"

Yes.  Uan showed it to me yesterday.  She said she was laughing her head off, not because of the comic, but because she immediately thought of me.  :)  (Editor's note: Aww!  :)  )

These need captions.

#7.  "Shut it.  Not talking about it right now."

#10.  "Tomorrow the world!  AHAHAHAHA!!!"

#11.  "Bluck!  Shouldn't've had a double carrot frappe during lunch, I guess."

#12.  "Flaps, 20 degrees.  Throttle to max."

#13.  "LADY, ARE YOU F#$*&ING KIDDING ME?!?"

#14.  "C'mon, KITT, gimme everything you got!!"

#16.  "--DAMMIT!"

#17.  "Guys, really?  This is insulting."

#18.  "I SAID IT BEFORE -- ARE YOU F#$*&ING KIDDING ME?!?"

#25.  "Got beer?"

so, I was making some tiny baby bunnies to go in my nephews' Easter baskets.

Less than 10 minutes off the needles and already they don't approve.  No sir, they do not.

I blame Thana.

Yes!!!  Those are awesome!

A friend of mine did the same or similar pattern.  We called the result the Abstract Bunny, because, well, it kinda looks like abstract art.  (Sadly, a moth got into it.)

This then led to very-funny-to-us jokes about whether abstract rabbits like abstract carrots.  Or, if they just want an empty donut box rather than an actual donut.

...

What?  Was it something I said?
