Title: Guild FP night: Thu, 8pm?

Eilaee was asking about FPs tonight, and I suggested the idea of a weekly Guild Night for FPs.

Eilaee is a Sage (healer-spec?) and currently 31.  I have Thanaomira, who is a 31 Shadow tank.

Eilaee is DPS, but she heals and bubbles Qyzen because she doesn't want stuff hitting her.  I've been contemplating a hybrid spec; it's either that or learn to use more buttons.

I would be interested in bringing my 32 Scoundrel... but 8 PM is probably a little too early for me on Thursdays, because that's usually my busy night for annoying household chores.

1, anyone else interested?
2, when are people's soft and hard stop times?

For me, I'd say 10:30 and 11pm.

I'm not 100% sure that I want to commit yet another of my evenings to an online group activity.  If I do, I'd prefer to be done at 10PM.

All that will change come June, but by June we may not be playing this game anymore.

I'd be fine (happier, actually) doing this on a week-by-week basis, rather than as a weekly committment.

We're still interested in trying this.  I'm going to say "logon around 8pm" and we'll see what we can get.

If it's just me & Heidi, we may do SCIENCE! and see if two PCs + two companions is viable or not.

If you think you might be there (even if you might be on later than 8pm), please drop a note here saying whenabouts we might be able to expect you.  :)  (I'm looking at you, Peri.  :)  )

I'm going to try to be there "around 8:00", or as soon as I can make it.  If I am delayed, it wouldn't be past 9:00, and that's a somewhat pessimistic worst case.

I'm guessing 2+2 isn't terribly viable, but we may try science until you show up and then, with one test group done, try 3+1.  :)

Cademimu (25-29), Empire and Republic.
Taral V (29-33), Republic only.

3+1 would probably work for anything below 50 except Colicoid War Games.

Cree and I were able to do much of Hammer Station (the second flashpoint) at level with 2+2, but not the final boss.  The content up to that part wasn't quick or easy; in particular, we took a lot of tries to get past the first boss.  The usual failure mode is that companions stand in stuff, making it too hard to keep them alive, and then you start falling behind on DPS checks.

I imagine it only gets harder to use companions as you progress through flashpoints, but I don't have any experience to back that up.  Being overlevel would, of course, make things easier.
